I’m just a Single Girl Searching for what God has for me to find. Life, hope, love, meaning and truth.
During my journey God has used my friends and family to help me write my story with laughter and loss, sorrow and joy.
I hope you learn something from the experiences I share and can see the thread God has woven through my life.
I saw this poem on April Lorier’s site and this was the poem I thought of when I wrote my ‘about me’.
Thank you April!
The Weaver
My life is but a weaving between my Lord and me,
I cannot choose the colors He worketh steadily.
Oft times He weaveth sorrow, and I in foolish pride
forget He sees the upper but I the under side.
Not till the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly,
shall God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needed in the Weaver’s skillful hand,
as threads of gold and silver in the pattern life has planned.

Please share with me the thoughts and opinions my words have generated. Because as the Bible says:
Philippians 2:1-3
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
1 John 1:3
We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
So – share away with me!

Thank you, honey, for the mention of me and the reprinting of The Weaver and Me. I, too, am single, and when one is single, it is Christ who is the greatest lover of their soul. May God bless you as you setup your WordPress!
Becky-
I had to come home and look you up. Easy to find, even with Google!
I am going to have fun following you through your adventure.
